December 2007: Santa Fe at Christmas

Northern New Mexico is beautiful this time of year because the days fluctuate between snowy tranquility and warm and sunny weather. I was able to get in some much needed R&R at the charming little El Rey Inn in Santa Fe.

I hope you enjoy these pictures of the beautiful scenery.

By the way, there is a fantastic, larger than life portrait painting in the New Mexico Museum of Art by Gerald Cassidy (see image below) portraying a Pueblo Indian - "past, present and future." If you get a chance to visit Santa Fe, I would recommend that you visit this museum to also view the wonderful original Baumann woodcuts and paintings by Georgia O'Keefe.

Today is

Lights under snow
Christmas snow on the Santa Fe Plaza.
